Anatomically Correct Dolls - Gotz 13-Inch, AQUINI BOY, Bald head, anatomically correct

Gotz 13-Inch, AQUINI BOY, Bald head, anatomically correct

Gotz 13-Inch, AQUINI BOY, Bald head, anatomically correct

Aquini is a drink and wet doll that is excellent for young children who are being potty trained. Each 13-inch doll has an articulated vinyl body, painted eyes, painted hair, and is anatomically correct. Includes a potty, towel and bottle. Order is for one boy doll. Ages: 3+ Manufacturer: International Playthings

Customer Review: Potty Doll

If you can get the doll situated on the potty and squeeze the baby bottle all at the same time it sort of works the way it is supposed to. The water does not get stored in the baby to be squeezed out later. Instead, once you squeeze the bottle it goes right through the baby (timing is key here). It is also difficult and sort of messy to keep the water in the dolls mouth.

I do recommend the doll for special needs children for the visual aspect. My son who is almost 5 and has Down Syndrome, he really liked it and was able to understand how to go on the potty (once I got it to sort of work). He didn't want to sit on his potty chair/ seat before I got the doll, after I used the doll to show him what he was supposed to do he got really excited and started using his potty. He also liked just playing with it and practicing dressing the doll since the clothes are removable.

It is a good idea, but the doll needs adjustments to make it easier and less messy to use. Filling the baby bottle is also tedious and it doesn't hold much water. So all in all this item is ok for potty training, even if it is kind of difficult to use it still gets the point across.

Customer Review: Terrible doll for potty training - doesn't wet

Despite the description as being a "drink-and-wet doll", this doll doesn't actually drink water or wet! It's useless for potty training. Very misleading.
